- There are many ethical issues that were not addressed while approving the pilot projects for Gardasil vaccine in Andhra Pradesh and Gujarat states in India.
- Clearly Government of India should have looked into the matter more closely before approving the conduct of such pilot projects which invloves vacicnation of young girls from tribal backgrounds with HPV vaccine while still there are many unanswered questions with regards to the safety and long term effects of HPV vaccine.
